Arts-Based Research (ABR) is a method of inquiry that uses creative arts—such as visual arts, music, theater, or dance—to explore and understand complex human experiences. Instead of relying solely on traditional data like words or numbers, researchers produce artistic works that reflect insights, emotions, and perspectives. These works serve as both a form of expression and evidence, fostering deeper understanding and new ways of knowing.
