Metaphysics (Aristotle)

Aristotle’s metaphysics is the branch of philosophy that explores the fundamental nature of reality, examining what exists and how it exists. It questions the nature of objects, their properties, and the concepts of "being" and "essence." Aristotle believes everything has an underlying purpose or "final cause," and that understanding the true nature of things involves studying both their material makeup and their form or structure. In essence, metaphysics investigates the most basic aspects of existence, seeking to explain what things are at their core beyond their surface appearances.
