Meta-analytic methods
Meta-analytic methods are statistical techniques used to combine results from multiple research studies on the same topic. By aggregating data, these methods provide a clearer overall picture of what the research shows, increasing the reliability of conclusions. They account for differences among studies, such as sample size or design, to produce a summary effect sizeāan estimate of the overall effect or relationship being studied. Meta-analysis helps identify consistent trends, assess the strength of evidence, and guide decisions or future research directions in a systematic and objective way.
