Messier 13 (Hercules Cluster)

Messier 13, also known as the Hercules Cluster, is a large group of stars called a globular cluster, located about 22,000 light-years away in the constellation Hercules. It contains hundreds of thousands of stars tightly bound together by gravity, forming a dense, spherical shape. These stars are some of the oldest in our galaxy, over 12 billion years old. The cluster is visible with a telescope and appears as a fuzzy, bright spot in the night sky, offering a glimpse into the ancient history of our Milky Way galaxy.
