Mescaleros
The Mescaleros were a Native American people belonging to the Apache group, traditionally inhabiting regions in what is now New Mexico, Texas, and northern Mexico. They were known as skilled hunters, gatherers, and warriors, adapting to desert and mountainous environments. The Mescaleros played a significant role in regional history, engaging in trade and conflicts with European settlers and other tribes. Their culture included unique language, customs, and spiritual practices, often centered around the natural landscape. Today, descendants and related groups preserve their heritage through language, ceremonies, and historical recognition.
