Mercury vapor lamp

A mercury vapor lamp is a type of lighting that uses electric current to excite mercury vapor inside a glass tube. When energized, the vapor emits bright, intense ultraviolet light, which is then converted into visible light by a phosphor coating inside the tube. These lamps produce a very bright, bluish-white light and are commonly used for outdoor lighting, streetlights, and industrial applications due to their high efficiency and long lifespan.
