Mengele (Josef Mengele)
Josef Mengele was a German physician notorious for performing inhumane experiments during World War II at Auschwitz, a Nazi concentration camp. He is often referred to as the "Angel of Death" because of his role in conducting medical experiments on prisoners, especially twins, without regard for their well-being. Mengele's actions are widely condemned as ethical violations and war crimes. After the war, he fled Europe to avoid capture, living in South America until his death in 1979. His name remains associated with atrocities and medical malpractice during the Holocaust.
