Members of Rajya Sabha

Members of the Rajya Sabha are elected representatives who form the upper house of India's Parliament. They play a vital role in reviewing, amending, and passing legislation proposed by the lower house (Lok Sabha). Members are elected by elected assembly members of states and union territories, not directly by the public, and serve staggered six-year terms, with one-third of members retiring every two years.
