Mehndi

Mehndi, also known as henna, is a traditional body art form involving the application of a natural dye made from crushed henna leaves. It is commonly used to create intricate temporary designs on the skin, especially during celebrations like weddings and festivals in South Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. The dye stains the skin in reddish-brown hues, with the design gradually fading over approximately one to two weeks. Mehndi serves both decorative and cultural purposes, symbolizing joy, blessings, and good fortune.
