Mehmed Talat Pasha

Mehmed Talat Pasha was a prominent Ottoman politician and military leader, serving as the Minister of Interior and later the Grand Vizier during World War I. He was a key figure in the Ottoman government and played a central role in the Armenian Genocide, orchestrating policies that led to the mass deportation and killings of Armenians. His leadership is controversial, viewed by some as contributing to atrocities, while others see him as a product of the wartime circumstances. After the war, he fled to Germany and later to the Ottoman Empire, where he was assassinated in 1921.
