Medusa (Antimatter propulsion concept)
Medusa is an advanced spacecraft propulsion concept that uses antimatter to generate powerful energy for deep-space travel. In this system, antimatter particles collide with normal matter, releasing a tremendous amount of energy in the form of high-speed particles known as plasma. This plasma is then directed out of the spacecraft to produce thrust, allowing the vehicle to achieve high speeds efficiently. Unlike traditional engines, Medusa harnesses the energy from antimatter reactions to enable fast exploration of distant planets and star systems, making interstellar journeys more feasible within a human lifetime.
