Medjugorje
Medjugorje is a small village in Bosnia and Herzegovina, famous for reports of annual Marian apparitions starting in 1981, where six local children claimed to see the Virgin Mary. Many visitors visit the site seeking spiritual significance, prayer, and healing. The Vatican has conducted investigations into these claims, but has not officially endorsed the apparitions. Despite this, Medjugorje remains a popular pilgrimage destination, known for its religious gatherings, prayer services, and the sense of community it fosters among believers seeking spiritual renewal.
