Mediation and Conciliation
Mediation and conciliation are both collaborative processes to resolve disputes without going to court. Mediation involves a neutral third party helping the parties communicate, explore issues, and find mutually acceptable solutions through discussion. Conciliation also involves a third person who may take a more active role in suggesting solutions and building trust but typically aims for an amicable agreement. Both methods prioritize cooperation, aim to reduce hostility, and often result in quicker, less costly resolutions than litigation. They are useful for resolving a wide range of disputes, including family, workplace, or commercial conflicts.
