Mediated Reality
Mediated Reality refers to technology that alters our perception of the real world by modifying what we see or experience through digital means. This can include augmented reality (AR), where digital images or information are overlaid onto the real environment, or virtual reality (VR), which creates entirely immersive digital worlds. Essentially, mediated reality enhances or changes our natural sensory input, allowing us to see, hear, or interact with a digitally modified version of reality. It is used in fields like gaming, training, design, and communication to provide different perspectives and information beyond what our senses naturally perceive.
