Mechanical Back Pain
Mechanical back pain refers to discomfort originating from the muscles, ligaments, discs, or bones in the spine, often caused by strain, poor posture, injury, or improper movement. It is not typically related to nerve damage or serious medical conditions. This type of pain can be acute or chronic, often worsened by activity and relieved by rest. It usually improves with conservative treatments such as physical therapy, exercise, and proper ergonomics. Mechanical back pain is common and, with appropriate management, many people recover fully without the need for invasive procedures.
