Mean Deviation
Mean deviation is a statistical measure that shows how much data points differ from the average (mean) value, on average. To calculate it, you find the difference between each data point and the mean, ignore whether these differences are positive or negative, and then find the average of all these differences. It provides a sense of how spread out or consistent the data is around the mean, without emphasizing large deviations more than smaller ones. Essentially, it helps understand the overall variability in a set of numbers in a straightforward way.
