ME/CFS Research Community

The ME/CFS Research Community is a group of scientists, healthcare professionals, and advocates focused on understanding myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). This complex condition is characterized by extreme fatigue, sleep disturbances, cognitive issues, and other debilitating symptoms. Researchers aim to uncover its causes, develop effective treatments, and improve diagnostic criteria. The community fosters collaboration across disciplines, shares findings, and raises awareness to support patients. Despite challenges, ongoing studies are exploring biological, genetic, and psychological factors to enhance understanding and ultimately improve the quality of life for those affected by ME/CFS.
