MDS-Plot
An MDS plot, or Multidimensional Scaling plot, is a visual tool used to represent the similarities or differences among a set of items based on their attributes. It takes complex, multi-dimensional data and maps it onto a two- or three-dimensional space so that items with similar characteristics appear close together, while dissimilar items are farther apart. This visualization helps identify patterns, groupings, or relationships within the data, making it easier to interpret complex information in fields like market research, biology, and psychology.
