McDonnell-Douglas AC-68

The McDonnell Douglas AC-68 was a proposed military aircraft developed in the late 1980s as a variant of the F-15 fighter jet. Designed for reconnaissance and electronic warfare, it would have been equipped with advanced sensors, intelligence-gathering equipment, and jamming devices to gather information and disrupt enemy communications from the air. Although it was developed and tested, the AC-68 project was ultimately canceled before enterinng production. It represented the US military's interest in versatile aircraft capable of both combat and intelligence missions, but it remained a concept rather than operational aircraft.
