MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire)
The MBE, or Member of the Order of the British Empire, is an honor awarded by the British monarchy to individuals for significant contributions to their community or field, such as public service, charitable work, or achievements in various professions. It recognizes extraordinary efforts that positively impact society, celebrating accomplishments at a local or national level. Recipients receive an insignia and are often invited to a ceremony where they are presented with their award. The MBE is one of several honours in the Order of the British Empire, which was established in 1917.
