Mazdaism

Mazdaism, also known as Zoroastrianism, is one of the world's oldest monotheistic religions, founded in ancient Persia around 1500 BCE. It centers on the worship of Ahura Mazda, the supreme god representing truth, wisdom, and goodness. The religion emphasizes the duality of good versus evil, urging followers to choose morally right actions, promote truth, and maintain purity. Sacred texts include the Avesta, and practices involve rituals like prayer and fire ceremonies. Though its influence waned after the Islamic conquest of Persia, Mazdaism persists today with small, dedicated communities, highlighting its historical importance and enduring spiritual principles.
