The Mausoleum of Augustus is an ancient Roman tomb built for Emperor Augustus and his family, located in Rome near the Tiber River. Constructed around 28 BCE, it is a large, circular structure made of brick and stone, designed to serve as a lasting monument to Augustus’s legacy. The tomb features a grand entrance and was originally surrounded by a courtyard with gardens.
