Materialist Ontology

Materialist ontology is the philosophical view that everything that exists is fundamentally made of matter or physical substances. It holds that all phenomena, including thoughts, consciousness, and emotions, arise from physical processes in the brain and body. In this perspective, there are no non-material or spiritual entities that exist independently of the physical world.
