mass vs weight
Mass is the amount of matter in an object, measured in units like grams or kilograms, and stays constant regardless of location. Weight is the force exerted on that mass by gravity, measured in newtons or pounds, and can change depending on where you are (like on the Moon or Earth). Essentially, mass tells you how much stuff an object has; weight tells you how heavy that object feels due to gravity's pull. While related, they are distinct: mass is an intrinsic property, weight depends on gravity.
