Maslow, Abraham

Abraham Maslow was a psychologist best known for his theory of human motivation, known as Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. He proposed that people are motivated by a series of levels—from basic physiological needs like food and safety, to psychological needs such as belonging and self-esteem, and ultimately self-actualization, which is reaching one’s full potential. The idea is that lower-level needs must be satisfied before individuals can focus on higher-level growth. This framework helps understand human behavior and personal development, emphasizing that fulfilled needs lead to healthier, more motivated lives.
