Masataka Shimizu is a Japanese businessman renowned for his leadership in the energy sector. He served as the President and CEO of Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), one of Japan’s largest utility companies, from 2008 to 2014. Under his guidance, TEPCO managed Japan’s electricity supply during a critical period, including the aftermath of the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster.
