Mary Rose
The Mary Rose was a historic English warship built in the early 16th century, around 1511. It served as a key part of England’s navy during the reign of King Henry VIII. The ship sank in 1545 during a battle and remained underwater for over 400 years. In 1982, it was carefully raised from the seabed and is now preserved in the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth. The ship has provided valuable insights into Tudor-era naval life, including the design, weapons, and daily routines of sailors from that time.
