Marubozu

A Marubozu is a type of candlestick pattern in financial charts that indicates strong trending behavior. It has no or very small wicks (shadows) at either end, meaning the opening and closing prices are near or at the high or low of the trading period. A bullish Marubozu occurs when the candle opens at the low and closes at the high, signaling strong buying pressure. Conversely, a bearish Marubozu opens at the high and closes at the low, indicating strong selling. These patterns suggest a clear and decisive shift in market sentiment, often signaling continuation of the current trend.
