Marsilio Ficino

Marsilio Ficino (1433–1499) was an influential Italian philosopher and scholar during the Renaissance. He translated Plato's works into Latin, making classical philosophy accessible in Western Europe. Ficino believed in the connection between humans, the cosmos, and divine wisdom, emphasizing the importance of love and spiritual harmony. His ideas helped shape humanist thought and laid groundwork for later philosophical and spiritual movements. Ficino also integrated Christian theology with Neoplatonic philosophy, fostering a view of the universe as a unified, spiritual entity.
