Marlborough's Campaign
Marlborough’s Campaign (1704-1706) was a series of military battles during the War of Spanish Succession, where English and Allied forces led by John Churchill, the Duke of Marlborough, aimed to weaken France and Spain. Marlborough strategically defeated French and Spanish armies in key battles like Blenheim and Ramillies, gaining control of territories in the Netherlands and Northern Europe. His tactics involved swift, well-coordinated attacks that maximized his forces’ strengths. These victories shifted the war’s momentum in favor of the Allies, ultimately helping to prevent France from securing dominance in Europe.
