Born in 1961, he played primarily for the Edmonton Oilers and the New York Rangers in the NHL. Messier is known for his leadership, winning six Stanley Cups and earning numerous awards, including the Hart Trophy as the league's Most Valuable Player. His remarkable skills, tough play, and ability to perform in crucial moments earned him the nickname "The Moose." He is also remembered for his role in ending the Rangers' 54-year championship drought in 1994.
