Mareva injunction

A Mareva injunction is a court order that prevents a person or company from transferring or hiding their assets, usually when they owe money and there's a risk they might dispose of assets to avoid paying. It aims to preserve the assets so that if the claimant wins the case, there will be funds available to satisfy the judgment. This injunction is granted early in legal proceedings and typically requires the claimant to show a strong case and a real risk that assets could be moved or concealed.
