Manufacturing Defect
A manufacturing defect occurs when a product is improperly produced, resulting in something that doesn’t meet quality standards or is unsafe to use. This defect arises during the manufacturing process and can be due to errors in materials, assembly, or quality control. As a result, the product may break, malfunction, or cause harm, even if it was designed correctly. Typically, manufacturing defects are present in only some units of a product batch and are not due to user misuse or normal wear and tear.
