Manson Family

The Manson Family was a cult led by Charles Manson in the late 1960s. Comprising mostly young followers, they believed Manson's teachings and followed his instructions. In 1969, they committed a series of brutal murders, including the actress Sharon Tate. Manson influenced his followers through manipulative tactics, leading them to carry out violent acts under his direction. The crimes garnered widespread media attention and shocked the nation, highlighting issues of cult influence and social upheaval during that era. Manson was convicted of conspiracy to commit murders and sentenced to life in prison, where he remained until his death in 2017.
