Manned suborbital flight
A manned suborbital flight involves a spacecraft carrying astronauts or passengers into space, reaching the edge of space (usually above 62 miles or 100 kilometers) but not orbiting the Earth. The flight typically lasts a few minutes, providing a brief experience of weightlessness and stunning views of Earth. It uses a powerful rocket to propel the vehicle upward, then descends back to Earth. Unlike orbital flights, it doesn’t complete an orbit around the planet, making it a shorter, less complex journey that offers a taste of space travel.
