Manitoba Legislature

The Manitoba Legislature is the elected governing body of the Canadian province of Manitoba. It consists of two parts: the Legislative Assembly, where Members of Parliament (MLAs) debate and pass laws, and the Lieutenant Governor, who represents the Queen and grants Royal Assent to approved laws. The Assembly’s members are chosen by voters during elections. The Legislature’s role is to create, amend, or revoke laws, oversee government policies, and ensure accountable governance. It functions as the central institution for legislative authority, representing the people of Manitoba and shaping the province’s legal and political framework.
