Manickavacakar

Manickavacakar was a revered 9th-century Tamil poet-saint known for his devotional poetry dedicated to Lord Shiva. His works emphasize the importance of pure faith, inner devotion, and the idea that righteousness and divine grace can be attained regardless of one’s social status or wealth. The most famous collection of his hymns, the "Manickavacakar" (meaning "Voice of the Golden Embryo"), consists of spiritual poems that reflect deep meditative thought and devotion.
