Male reproductive system

The male reproductive system produces, stores, and transports sperm—the cells responsible for creating offspring. It includes the testes, which produce sperm and testosterone, the hormone that influences male characteristics. Sperm travel from the testes through the vas deferens to the urethra, passing out of the body during ejaculation. The system also includes accessory structures like the prostate and seminal vesicles that add fluids to sperm, forming semen, which nourishes and protects sperm during ejaculation. Overall, the system's main role is to facilitate reproduction by delivering sperm to fertilize an egg.
