Malawian women's struggles
Malawian women often face significant challenges including limited access to quality education and healthcare, economic disadvantages, and cultural norms that restrict their rights. They may experience gender-based violence, early marriage, and discrimination in employment and decision-making roles. These obstacles hinder their ability to achieve equality, improve their livelihoods, and contribute fully to society. Despite progress, systemic societal and structural barriers remain, making it difficult for many women to access opportunities and protections enjoyed elsewhere.
