Makemake
Makemake is a small, icy object located in the Kuiper Belt beyond Neptune, roughly 1,430 kilometers (890 miles) in diameter. It is classified as a dwarf planet because it has enough mass for its gravity to give it a rounded shape, but it hasn't cleared its orbit of other debris. Makemake has a bright surface composed of methane, ethane, and other ices, making it highly reflective. Discovered in 2005, it is one of the largest known objects in the Kuiper Belt and shares characteristics with Pluto, offering insights into the outer solar system's formation and composition.
