Major George Preddy

Major George Preddy was a distinguished American fighter pilot during World War II, known for his remarkable skill and bravery. Born in 1920, he primarily flew the P-51 Mustang with the 328th Fighter Squadron. Preddy became one of the war's top aces, credited with shooting down 26 enemy aircraft. His tactical prowess and leadership earned him several awards, including the Distinguished Service Cross. Tragically, he was killed in action in December 1944, just a few weeks before the war in Europe ended, leaving behind a legacy of heroism and dedication to his country.
