Maitreya

Maitreya is a figure recognized in several spiritual traditions, primarily within Buddhism, as the future Buddha who is believed to eventually bring enlightenment and compassion to the world. Currently, he is viewed as a bodhisattva (an enlightened being who postpones nirvana to help others) residing in a celestial realm called Tushita. Maitreya is expected to appear on Earth in the future to teach compassion, promote spiritual awakening, and help guide humanity toward peace. His teachings emphasize kindness, understanding, and the development of inner virtue to create a better world.
