Mahadeva

Mahadeva, also known as Shiva, is a major deity in Hinduism, regarded as the supreme god responsible for creation, destruction, and transformation of the universe. He embodies both a compassionate, benevolent aspect and a fierce, powerful form. Often depicted with a third eye, a river of milk or water called the Ganges flowing from his hair, and a crescent moon on his head, Shiva symbolizes the cyclical nature of existence. He is also associated with meditation, asceticism, and dance (Tandava). As a deeply revered figure, Mahadeva represents the balance of life's destructive and regenerative forces.
