Mago (Carthaginian general)

Mago was a Carthaginian military leader known for his role during the Second Punic War against Rome in the early 3rd century BCE. He was the brother of the famous Hannibal and served as a general, contributing to Carthage’s military strategies. Mago was involved in key battles and was respected for his tactical skill. After the war, he was sent to aid Carthage's allies in Spain, where he eventually died. His leadership and expertise helped shape Carthage's military efforts during a critical period of conflict with Rome.
