Magnetization refers to the process or state where a material, like iron, acquires magnetic properties by aligning its tiny magnetic regions called domains. When these domains align uniformly, the material produces a magnetic field, making it act like a magnet—either attracting or repelling other materials. This can happen naturally or be induced by external magnetic fields. Magnetization is the key reason objects like magnets can pull together or repel each other and is fundamental in many technologies like electric motors, generators, and data storage devices.
