Macedonian grammar
Macedonian grammar is part of the South Slavic language family and features noun cases, verb aspects, and a relatively simple structure. Nouns have definite and indefinite forms, and they decline for case (nominative, genitive, accusative, etc.) depending on their role in a sentence. Verbs conjugate for person, number, tense, and aspect, indicating the action's completion or ongoing nature. The language also uses a subject-verb-object (SVO) word order, but it can vary for emphasis. Macedonian employs gender distinctions in nouns and adjectives, affecting their endings based on the gender of the nouns they describe.
