Märzen

Märzen is a traditional German lager beer that originated in the city of Munich. It is brewed using malted barley, hops, yeast, and water, then fermented at warmer temperatures to develop its rich, malty flavor. Historically, Märzen was brewed in March (hence the name) and stored in cool caves to be enjoyed later, especially during Oktoberfest celebrations. It has a medium body, a balanced flavor profile with toasty malt notes, and a clean, crisp finish. Today, Märzen is most famously associated with Oktoberfest and remains a popular, seasonally enjoyed beer worldwide.
