Luwians
Luwians were an ancient people who inhabited parts of Anatolia (modern-day Turkey) around 2000 to 700 BCE. They spoke a language related to Hittite and used a script derived from cuneiform. The Luwians played a significant role in the region's history, particularly during the late Bronze Age and early Iron Age, contributing to trade, culture, and politics. They are often associated with numerous city-states and kingdoms, such as Lydia and Caria. The Luwians are known for their influence on the Hittite Empire and for their later impact on Greek culture during the transition to classical antiquity.
