Luritja people
The Luritja people are an Aboriginal group from Central Australia, primarily in the Northern Territory. They have a deep cultural connection to the land, with traditions involving storytelling, art, and ceremonies that convey their history and spirituality. Luritja language is part of the Western Desert language group. They often traditionally practiced hunting, gathering, and seasonal mobility across the desert environment. Today, many Luritja people continue to maintain their cultural practices while also engaging in contemporary life, working to preserve their heritage and land rights.
