Luminous Flux
Luminous flux is a measure of the total amount of visible light emitted by a source, such as a bulb or lamp. It is expressed in lumens (lm) and indicates how much light is produced that we can see and perceive. Unlike power consumption, which measures energy use, luminous flux focuses on the brightness or brightness potential of the light source. For example, a lamp with a higher lumen rating appears brighter than one with fewer lumens, helping you choose lighting based on the amount of visible light emitted.
